i received for my birthday recently a large box full of used minidisc paraphernalia. these are their stories

mystery discs

this sounds almost like a college lecture-- a woman performing piano interpretations and earlier 20th century pop songs.
i can't tell what the label says- Laurie DiClimente? Laurie DiElimente?
the first track on the disc is chopin - prelude op. 28 no. 15 "raindrops"

trapped on the mountain: it's a 5 minute recording of a guy, presumably the mystery disc's previous owner,
singing a very obviously improvised song about going up the snowy mountain to record an album because
there's no people there, but having the snowmobile break down and so he's stuck there because his car has no 4 wheel drive

Morrissey (possibly Morrisset? vol. 1
5 minutes of what sounds like someone digging an old coconut out of its shell

this disc, labeled simply with a check-mark, seems to contain a recording of a slam poetry competition.
some of the entries are very good
